Athlete & Volunteer Festival

The Athlete & Volunteer Festival is the Opening Ceremony party with games, music, food and fun!  Participants and supporters of the Games are invided to join us in celebrating the 19th Annual Sunflower State Games.  The 2007 Athletes of the Year Alice Lackey and Kory Cool will light the torch to signify the official kick-off.  The 5K/10K Governor's Cup Road Race will follow the cermony, taking off from Hummer Sport Park. 

Date & Time: Friday, July 18, 6-9 pm
Location: Hummer Sports Park, 2751 SW East Circle Dr, Southeast Parking Lot.  Click for map.
Admission: FREE
Schedule of Events:
     6:00: Music, food, dunk tank, games, merchandise tent, Governor's Cup check-in/registration.
     6:30: Lighting of the Torch Ceremony
     7:00: 5K/10K Governor's Cup Road Race
     8:00: Awards Ceremony

Hy-Vee Registration Party

Date: Friday, June 27

Time: 11am - 2pm & 4pm - 6pm

Come visit the Sunflower State Games at Hy-Vee in Topeka. Register to compete in the Games at the Party and receive $2 off your Entry Fee!
