Please register for the age group that your team will be playing in the fall of 2014. Use the age matrix below to verify the proper placement of your team. If there are not enough teams in a particular age division, teams will be placed up a division.

Please read this section carefully! In 2014 we will be introducing a new policy and procedure for submitting Team Rosters and Waiver Forms.

  • Roster Deadline: 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 for competition taking place July 19-20: Your full roster must be submitted online by this date. Rosters will be frozen at this time.
  • Roster Deadline: 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23 for competition taking place July 26-27: Your full roster must be submitted online by this date. Rosters will be frozen at this time.
  • Waiver Deadline: 6 p.m. on Friday, July 18 for competition taking place July 19-20: Your signed waiver form must be received in our office by this date. Waivers will not be accepted at the tournament.
  • Waiver Deadline: 6 p.m. on Friday, July 25 for competition taking place July 26-27: Your signed waiver form must be received in our office by this date. Waivers will not be accepted at the tournament.
  • By registering for this event, all teams agree to follow the Roster & Waiver submission policies and procedures.
  • If either of the above deadlines are not met, your team will be pulled from the tournament and a refund will NOT be issued.
  • Roster limit of 6. Minimum of 3.

FORMAT:

  • Three game guarantee.
  • Pools will be randomly assigned after all entries are received. Pool play competition with pool winners advancing to single elimination championship if championship game is needed. Example, 5 team pools will not have a championship game.
  • If you are coaching more than one team, please enclose a note and we will make every effort, but no guarantee, to schedule games so that you can coach each of your teams.
  • Coaches are required to have proof of age and residency for each player on their team. Player cards are not required, however birth certificates or player cards must be in the coaches posession at all times for the duration of the tournament. Ineligible players will not be tolerated.
  • If a player is found to be ineligible, the coach and player will be disqualified for the remainder of the tournament and all preceding games will be forfeited. Complete protest policy can be found here.
  • Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded to the top three teams in each age division. Trophy awarded to the first place team in each division.

 

RULES:

  • Click here for 3v3 specific Soccer Rules.
  • Tiebreaker Rules: 1) Head to Head. 2) The greater goal difference with a maximum of three per game. 3) Least goals allowed. 4) Teams shall take kicks from the penalty mark, as per FIFA Laws of the Game, untill a winner is declared.
  • Please be prepared for the heat. Bring adequate water and shade for your team.
  • Please follow the complex rules set by the Sunflower Soccer Association: 1) No dogs or pets are allowed. 2) The compelx is a tobacco and alcohal free environment. 3) All patrons must clean up after themselves and properly dispose of trash.
