The 2009 Athlete Festival Presented by

6:00-9:00 pm, Hummer Sports Park

The Athlete Festival is the official kickoff party of the 2009 Games with food, music and fun for the whole family! Participants and supporters of the Games are welcome to join us in celebrating the start of the 20th Annual Sunflower State Games. 2008 Athletes of the Year Matt Brungardt and Joyce Baker will light the torch to "Let the Games Begin." The 5K/10K Governor's Cup Road Race will Follow the ceremony.

ADMISSION: FREE

Complimentary BBQ provided by Rib Crib to first 500 Registered SSG Athletes. Must have registration confirmation or 2009 Sunflower State Games T-Shirt for BBQ.
Free custard will be provided by Freddy's Frozen Custard to those in attendance.
