REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

The Hot Shot Basketball Competition is limited to participants who have qualified through their local Parks and Recreation Agency. Contact your local Recreation Department for qualifying event information. To register, send in your qualifying certificate along with a completed individual entry form and signed waiver by July 9.

COMPETITION FORMAT:

Participants have one minute to score as many points as possible by making baskets from designated shooting areas. Intermediate balls (28.5) will be used for all divisions except 15-16 boys, who will use 29.5. Shots may be taken in any sequence but only two made lay-ups are allowed. Violations count for a one point deduction. Bonus points will be in effect. Age determination date is August 31, 2010. The top three scorers in each division will be awarded medals. Trophies will be awarded for first in each division.
