Perry Lake State Park, Wild Horse Equine Trails: west of Lawrence 15 miles or east of Topeka 8 miles on HWY 24 and three miles north on HWY 237. Follow park signs to Horse Camp. Click here for directions.

TIME:

Pre-ride check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. on July 21. Pot-luck dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. (meat dish provided). Please inform commissioner if you expect to arrive after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ride begins at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday , July 22.

COMPETITION FORMAT:
MOTDRA rules and scoring apply: www.motdra.org. Horses must have negative coggins, no health certificate required. Please don’t bring a horse in questionable health. Horses should be capable of riding 5-7 mph for the duration of the ride. Shoes are recommended.
TRAILS:
Perry State Lake horse trails are a blend of wooded areas and open fields. Significant hills in certain areas. Plenty of water is usually available along trail sections of the park.
