TIME:

Check-in/Registration: 5:00-6:00 p.m.

FEE:

$20 per person or $60 for Omnium

COMPETITION FORMAT:

The Time Trial will be centered around and on the super smooth HPT Road Course. Course distance will be 10K and includes several turns, a trip through a tunnel, and even one run down the HPT drag strip. Added bonus, the course is totally closed. Beginners will race Male Cat 5 or Female Cat 4.

  • Held under USA Cycling Event Permit #TBA.
  • All USAC rules apply.
  • USAC license required.
  • One day USAC license available for $10.
  • Fees include $3 for USAC insurance and $1 for KCA surcharge.
  • Race will be held rain or shine (barring severe weather).
  • CPSC approved helmets must be worn by all participants while riding at any time during this event.
  • Distances may change if weather conditions become severe.
  • These races are part of the KBAR/KBAT.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Riders will go off at thirty second intervals beginning at 6:30 p.m. based on Cat classifications, starting with Cat 3 Men, followed by the Women and Juniors. Start times will be posted shortly after registration closes. 2012 TIme Trial Flyer will be posted shortly.

Forbes Field: Topeka, KS. Check-in will take place at the intersection of SE 4 North and SE B St. Click here for directions.

TIME:

Check in/Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and will close 30 minutes prior to the start of each race time. Criterium start times below are estimates, and will depend on field size. Races may be shortened or combined. Be checked-in and ready to race 30 minutes before your scheduled start time.

FEE:

$25 per person or $60 for Omnium

COMPETITION FORMAT:

The race will begin at Heartland Park Topeka, Gate E. The course is a "lollipop" connected to a 14 mile loop. The first 3 miles are neutral. Also, there will be a Neutral Feed Zone with bottles provided. Beginners will race Men Cat 5 or Women Cat 4. 2012 Road Race Flyer will be posted shortly.
