REGISTRATION INFO:Teams will not be officially considered in the tournament until the following registration steps have been completed. 1. 3rd-12th grade teams must enter through MAYB at www.mayb.com. If entering with MAYB Tournament Pack, please list Sunflower State Games as your area Director. Teams must register with MAYB by July 2. No late entries. 2. Coaches must complete the official Sunflower State Games Team Entry Form and Roster/Waiver Form (please note: SSG forms are separate from the MAYB forms). These forms can be found in the right column of this page or below. Completed rosters and signed waivers form must be turned into to the Sunflower State Games office by July 18 at 6:00 p.m. Team rosters will be frozen at this time. Teams submitting their completed rosters after the deadline will NOT recieve commemorative t-shirts. Include a team name, division, and each participant's individual information on the Team Waiver Form. Each participant must sign the waiver. If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian's signature is required. Please see the Roster Change Form regarding changes made to your roster after submission. Roster limit is 12. A coach or representative from each team must check-in at Washburn University - Petro Hall, Room 220 at least one hour prior to their first scheduled game. Failure to do so will result in forfeit of your first game. Check-in will be open from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20 and beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 21. COMPETITION FORMAT:It will be the coach's responsibility to obtain game times for bracket play on Sunday upon conclusion of pool play on Saturday. Elimination brackets will be emailed to coaches and posted on this web page when pool play is completed. Click here for specific Basketball Rules. Teams agree to follow these rules by signing the Team Waiver.ADMISSIONS:Spectator admission will be charged at Youth Basketball games. A weekend family pass (limit two adults and two students) can be purchased on-site for $20. Individual weekend passes can be purchased for $8 per adult and $5 per student. Coaches of ALL Adult basketball teams MUST CHECK-IN AT LEAST ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF THEIR FIRST GAME at Petro Hall Room 220, Washburn University. Click here to view location on map and request directions. Waiver forms must be completed and signed by the entire team before coaches are able to check-in and pick up packets and t-shirts. Check-in will open at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28. Failure to check-in will result in forfeit of your first game and each subsequent game until your team has checked in. COMPETITION FORMAT:Kansas teams only (up to three out of state players may be on the roster). Proof of residency is required by all teams. If a team is found with more than four out of state players on its roster, the team will forfeit the remainder of the tournament with no refund.
