FEE:

 $15 per person for one event. $5 for each additional event.
For Doubles, each partner must register and pay separately.

DEADLINE:

 Friday, July 9. Late registrations accepted with a $5 late fee at commissioner's discretion. T-shirts will not be guaranteed after deadline.

  • Challenge matches for fun will take place at 1:30 p.m. (self arranged - no medals awarded).
  • There will be no official lunch break, however facilities will be provided to participants for break room.

COMPETITION FORMAT:

Competitors are required to provide their own rackets. Shuttlecocks will be provided. Play will be conducted on four courts in an air-conditioned gymnasium. If requested, the commissioner will assign doubles partners. The age division of competition for Doubles and Mixed Doubles will be determined by the age of the younger of the two partners as of December 31, 2010 for ages 20 and over. Age determination for participants in the 10-19 division will be their age the day of competition. If numbers are conducive, athletes will be divided into pools within their age division. Within each pool, a single round-robin tournament will be played. At the conclusion of the round-robin, winners will advance and play a single-elimination tournament. If numbers are not conducive, a double-elimination tournament will be played within each age division. The commissioner reserves the right to combine age groups when necessary to form a pool. All matches will be conducted in accordance with the US Badminton Association rules, except as modified herein. Please note: The rally system of scoring will be used in this tournament.
